The Pre-run Dam tot Damloop at the Zaanse Schans is the ultimate warm-up for one of the Netherlands’ biggest running events. In the run-up to the Dam tot Dam by Night and the NN Dam tot Damloop, 1,000 runners gather at the Zaanse Schans, where historical heritage and sport come together.<\/p>

This preparatory run of 3.5 or 7 miles takes participants along the Kalverringdijk, Enge Wormer and the iconic windmill panorama. It is therefore a special event organised by Le Champion<\/a> at the Zaanse Schans.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The pre-run Dam tot Dam on the Zaanse Schans offers runners the opportunity to train, test themselves and enjoy themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. The route runs along flat and easily accessible paths and is suitable for both novice and experienced runners. The start and finish are located on the Kalverringdijk near the ‘t Glop dock next to the De Huisman mill.<\/p>

Along the way, runners can enjoy the views over the water, the Kalverpolder, Enge Wormer, the monumental buildings of the Zaan region and the Zaan windmills.<\/p>

The emphasis is on fun and preparation, with a relaxed and accessible atmosphere in which running together is central.
