Events at the Zaanse Schans
The Zaanse Schans is an excellent setting for various events. Every year, traditional events take place on the Zaanse Schans. The Zaanse Schans Foundation concentrates mainly on events that fit the historical character of the Zaanse Schans and/or have a strong link with the Zaan region. Folklore Day
The traditional Folklore Day takes place annually on the third Saturday of August at the Zaans Schans. Visitors can enjoy the craft and arts and crafts market and various folk music and dance performances.
